The Range Rover Sport SVR shows its performance in various terrains

The Range Rover Sport SVR is undoubtedly one of the most productive SUV on the market. Part of the fault is its 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine that makes it the most powerful model of the brand. They are no less than 550 hp and 680 Nm of torque, which gives this two-ton beast 0-100 km / h in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed limited to 260 km / h.

These would be their benefits under optimum conditions, but what would happen in another type of land? Range Rover wants to make clear that its vehicles work equally well off the asphalt and for this it has checked the performance of the Sport SVR in different types of firm. Therein will come into play the SUV, the acclaimed Terrain Response 2, which has behaved as follows.

This total traction system has six modes of driving and have wanted to see the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in several of them. In the ‘Grass, gravel and snow’ mode connected the Range Rover Sport SVR reaches 100 km / h in 5.3 seconds on gravel, in 5.5 seconds on grass and in 11.3 seconds on snow. Not bad considering it is only 0.6 seconds less than 4.7 seconds (with Dynamic mode and dry asphalt).

With the ‘Arena’ mode activated and rolling on that type of surface has reached 0 to 100 km / h in 5.5 seconds, as well as grass. Another proven way was the ‘Mud and furrows’ and on this terrain reached 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds. It should be noted that for all previous tests used Michelin All Season tires standard with 275/40 measures to fit their 21-inch tires. This video has shown us that the traction of the British is worthy of admiration.
